CHERYL JOHNSTON
ASIA
DESTINATION SPECIALIST
Travel has taught me the importance of culture and diversity. I have been very fortunate to explore destinations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Travel is my life. I enjoy active adventures, such as my experience of cycling from Passau, Germany to Vienna, Austria. This took me through the small villages along the Danube River, exploring historical communities. While in Thailand, visiting an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, I was able to care for Elephants in their natural habitat. A cooking class in Bangkok lead me to markets on a Tuk-Tuk, to learn about the local foods, which we prepared at the cooking school. While in Indonesia, the local culture of the Balinese people took my breath away The world truly is our oyster. The journey begins from the initial moment I enter the airport, to when I reach my final destination. People truly do make the world go round.
