Australia Goes On Sale with Virgin
Goway partners with Virgin Australia to put Australia on sale.
When it comes to Australia vacations, competition has grown fierce.
There are now more airlines servicing trans-Pacific routes than ever before. One major carrier is Virgin Australia, part of the ever-growing and much acclaimed Virgin family of airlines. Launched in 2009 as ‘V Australia,’ the company’s international presence turned Los Angeles to Sydney into one of the world’s most competitive tickets, putting a once-in-a-lifetime dream trip closer within reach than ever.
With a strong Australian dollar, a multi-stop Australian itinerary remains an expensive exercise. Ranging from 11 to 15 days, these two or three-stop Australia tours combine Virgin’s most competitive airfares with special rates on accommodation in Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Ayers Rock, Adelaide, Darwin and the Gold Coast.
Passengers will experience Australia’s most iconic sights on the 13-day Australia Culture trip, which includes Sydney, Ayers Rock and the Great Barrier Reef. Alternatively, the 15 day Australia Treasures trip takes in cosmopolitan Sydney and Melbourne, with a top end break in Darwin in between, offering a very different pace of Aussie life.
Shorter two-day packages are also available. These pair Sydney with chic, culture-loving Melbourne or tropical Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
These trips are designed to let globetrotters experience the land downunder their way, so inclusions are kept to a minimum. Still, those who prefer others to handle the details can opt for Goway’s ‘Explore’ packages, which include airport-hotel transfers and tours to help get the most out of each location.
13 and 15 day packages start at $2199 per person, with 11 day packages from $1799. Prices are based on Los Angeles departure, with special rates available for connection to other US cities.
