New Goway Peru Travel Packages Include a Homestay and Hiking Machu Picchu
Goway new Peru travel packages include a Lake Titicaca homestay, and complimentary Cusco accommodation for guests hiking Machu Picchu.
Topping TripAdvisor’s list of the world’s greatest landmarks, the lost city of Machu Picchu is a dream destination for many. Goway Travel is offering the chance to tick it off the bucket list for less, with special offers on some of its new and popular Peru travel packages. Guests may opt for hiking Machu Picchu along the famous Inca Trail, walk the less strenuous 2-day ‘Baby Inca Trail,’ or enjoy the country in depth on Goway’s exclusive Private Peru itinerary, which includes an overnight stay with a local family.
The traditional Inca Trail trek takes four days and includes transfers from Cusco. Goway travellers may also opt for a 5-day option to better acclimatise. A 5-day luxury package is also available. On this trip, well equipped overnight camps offer some much needed pampering in between hiking days, without compromising the challenge or physical intensity of the famous trek. The Baby Inca Trail offers a just taste of the experience over two days, while still rewarding hikers with a visit to Winay Wayna ruins, and the magnificent Sungate view over Machu Picchu.
Not everyone likes to hike to the ruins. Private Peru is an 11-day, air-inclusive adventure that transfers passengers from Lima, giving them more time to explore the Sacred Valley before approaching the ruined city onboard the scenic Vistadome train. They then journey south to Puno, stopping at the Raqchi ruins, then go on to Lake Titicaca, staying overnight with a local family on Taquille Island. A more traditional, less touristy side of Peru greets travellers here, where the local community is particularly well known for its exquisite handicrafts.
The Private Peru vacation is new and exclusive to Goway, with departures from September 2015 to April 2016.
