Goway's New Holiday in Malaysia Celebrates the Country's Favourite Pastime

Goway invites travellers to shop, flop and tour Malaysia just in time for the country's Year of Festivals.

Goway's newest holiday in Malaysia invites travellers to experience the country’s shopping culture in Kuala Lumpur, before taking them to Lankawi Island for five nights of relaxation on the beach.

With departures scheduled throughout 2015, travellers can time their adventure to coincide with one of the many events making up Malaysia’s Year of Festivals. Those looking to indulge in Malaysia’s two favourite pastimes may choose to visit in July or August for the 1Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival, or in October for the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival.

Any country that devotes a two-month festival to shopping is serious about finding a bargain. Goway’s Malaysian Paradise, Culture, Markets and Beaches trip includes a half-day shopping tour of Kuala Lumpur with an expert local guide. Travellers can then choose a style of retail therapy to suit them, from glitzy malls to traditional markets. All are available in this city that brings together the cultures and flavours of China, India, and Southeast Asia. Travellers will also embark on a Kuala Lumpur sightseeing tour that includes the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, and the iconic Petronas Towers. A day at leisure allows time for more shopping, or enjoying other famous sights such as Batu Caves.

Departures are available throughout 2015 into early 2016. Guests travelling between September 19 and October 30 however, will be eligible to receive five nights on Langkawi Island for the price of four, staying at the Berjaya Beach & Spa Resort. This offer is available until July 31, 2015.
