TSARS GOLD PRIVATE TRAIN COMPARTMENTS

Choose from 5 different cabin types, according to your personal requirements, and dine in the beautiful restaurant wagons. Enjoy fine cuisine and drinks. The restaurant car also serves as a bar wagon, so before and after meals you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and have a nice conversation with fellow travellers as you collect unique impressions.

Between Moscow and the Chinese-Mongolian border in Erlian (and vice versa) your Private Train offers five different compartment categories ranging from the budget-minded category I with shared facilities to the best possible comfort available on the Trans Siberian with private facilities: category V. No matter which compartment type you choose, all of them are about twice as large as typical European sleeping car compartments.

This is a true journey of discovery. As you travel across the largest country in the world, you will be amazed by Russia’s incredible history and its focus on culture. Contrary to common conceptions you will also find Russians among the kindest people you will meet, ever ready to engage in conversations.

• There are several grades of carriage accommodation. For North American travelers we recommend the top two. As space is limited, please book early.
• As passengers come from all over the world you will be allocated a specific group (colour) and a specific English-speaking Russian guide for the whole trip. Local English-speaking guides will also accompany your group at stops along the way.
• The journey operates as an escorted tour where the train is your transport for travelling point to point but the train is also your “hotel on wheels”.
• The trip is more active than you probably think with so many “off-train” experiences along the way including two overnight stays (one where you can arrange washing).
