Rajmahal Cruise Facilities, Activities & Dining
Facilities & Activities:
Whilst the peace and tranquility of the passengers is the priority and many passengers prefer to read, write or engage in painting or photography, the Rajmahal Spa offers head massage, foot massage and body massages as well.
Excursions ashore key part of the Rajmahal river expedition. These may be in the form of a good walk through the countryside and villages. We try not to use cars or coaches wherever possible and in some places only the most basic of local transportation is available.
We stop at least once a day, usually twice. The expert guides will accompany you on these explorations ashore.
The Rajmahal dining room is designed to sit everyone at one time with sit-down service. It is fully air-conditioned and has no formal dress code.
We offer a great mixture of Assamese (milder than most Indian cuisine) and continental meals. We use supplies that are as local as possible, given environmental health regulations. Breakfast and lunch are a buffet whilst dinner is a seated dinner. Vegetarians are well catered for as well. Special diets may be catered for by prior notice. House red and white wine are included with lunch and dinner only. The chefs know that the majority of passengers want to eat the best of the country they are travelling in.
