On arrival in Taitung, our coach driver will be waiting at the train to begin our touring.

Our first stop is Shitiping, a fascinating marine abrasion platform covered with coral reefs and potholes that extends for over a kilometer parallel to the coastline.

We also stop to view Sanxiantai (literally meaning terrace of the three immortals) which is composed of offshore islands and coral reefs. The most famous landmark is the cross-sea bridge, connecting the mainland and the island.

Our final stop is at the Amis Folk Center, a cultural center that introduces the custom, architecture, art and music of the Amis – an indigenous people of Taiwan. Here we will be welcome by our guide and taken on a journey to experience the lifestyle of these people who for centuries have lived from the sea.
