Must we travel on the suggested departure dates featured in the brochure and/or website?
No! These are just suggested departure dates. The Snowbird Long Stay Escape program generally runs from January through the end of March – exact dates vary from property to property. If you would like to travel on different dates or a different routing, we can usually accommodate your request however, depending on routing and dates, there would probably be a different cost – please just ask!
One month is too long we only want 3 weeks, what is the price?
Please ask us about other long-stay options.
Can my friend come and stay with us for a week or so?
Yes, however, there would be an extra cost that is payable directly to the management of the property.
Will Goway have a local representative on call?
Yes, in Australia we have our Goway office located in Sydney with a 24-hour emergency number.
Can day tours, cars, etc. be book locally through the Goway office?
Yes, our local office can assist you with all your needs Downunder. In the Cook Islands, your hotel will be able to assist with any touring requirements.
What the difference between the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Cost?
The Sunshine Coast is located approximately one hour north of Brisbane and the region is made up of beautiful holiday towns all with a relaxing peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful white sand beaches and unique shopping opportunities are available. Close day tours to Australia Zoo, Forest Glen Sanctuary, Ginger Factory, Bli Bli Castle, The Big Pineapple, Aussie World, etc.
The Gold Coast is located approximately one hour south of Brisbane and hosts the centre of activities and night life, as well as lots of great shopping opportunities and beautiful beaches. It is in close proximity to amusement parks (Dream World, Movie World, Sea World etc.) and Lamington National Park.
Both regions offer great weather and excellent beaches. Our experienced reservations agents can assist you agent in making the right decision for you.
How far is the property from the Beach/shopping/restaurants?
Depends on the property (see individual listings), but most are within walking distance.
Do I need to bring anything from home i.e. towels/cooking pots/coffee machine, etc?
No, everything you will need is in the apartment.
What if we have a problem while we are on our Snowbird Holiday?
Goway has our Sydney office. They are there to help with anything they can. In the Cook Islands, your hotel will be able to assist with any problems or you can call us in North America for assistance.
