Some of us don’t really like winter that much and want to get away from it. Well, you can consider one of Goway’s long-stay packages. You can follow the summer Downunder to Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands in the Pacific Ocean. Alternatively, relax in Panama, where two continents meet, or if you’d like a shorter flight, escape the cold in some of Europe’s sunniest destinations.

Because you will be staying longer than average, you can take advantage of great prices. In fact, the longer you stay, the better it becomes. You will be surprised at the quality of accommodation Goway provides for the prices we charge!

And you don’t just get the accommodation. There’s much more to our Snowbird Winter Escapes. Why shiver here when you could be enjoying a one, two or three-month winter break relaxing around a pool or by the ocean, taking walks in the sunshine or exploring new locations?

In 1994, Goway introduced the concept of sending Snowbirds to Australia extending it to new, non-traditional winter escape destinations. In Australia, we offer the Sunshine Coast just north of Brisbane in Queensland and the Gold Coast just south. The locals are friendly and enjoy having visitors from North America.

In 2001, Goway added New Zealand staying in the Bay of Plenty on the North Island situated on the East Coast halfway approximately between Auckland and Roturua. Lots of sightseeing possibilities here.

In 2009, the beautiful Cook Islands were added to the Goway portfolio of Snowbird destinations.

In 2013, we introduced Panama.

In 2018, Europe joins our Long Stay range in the form of Malta and Portugal’s sunny Algarve, with more destinations to come.
