As well as the delicious and fresh meals from the kitchen, you can order tasty snacks throughout the flight, at the touch of your screen. No waiting for hours between meals - eat when you want to. And, of course, there's always a superb selection of New Zealand wines from the on-board cellar. The vast selection of activities on your inflight entertainment will keep even the most fidgety of flyers engaged for the whole flight. Enjoy over 580 hours of content - including latest movies, TV box sets, video games, and a dedicated kids section - all on a 10.6” personal touch screen in widescreen format. If you need more, there are always the USB and iPod connections to plug in to.
Air New Zealand – Economy Skycouch™
The Skycouch™ is a row of three Economy seats that together create a flexible space for whatever you want it to be - an area to relax and stretch out in, or for the kids to use as a play area. It’s like having your very own couch on the plane.
What makes the Skycouch™ different to other Economy seats is the way the trio of seats transform. With a touch of a button, a footrest will come out from under each of the three seats which you can pull up to create a flat, flexible space for you to use however you like. By booking this three-wide seat space, you really can get the most from your long-haul flying experience. The seats themselves are Economy seats with armrests that disappear into the back of the seat. There’s also a trinket tray, a winged headrest and a sleep pillow on every seat.
Air New Zealand – Premium Economy (777-200)
Enjoy more legroom with the largest seat pitch in its class and relax with 50% more recline than Economy. And while you're there: put your feet up with the leg rest and foot bar, use the in-seat power if you need it (available in most seats) and sip from your complimentary water bottle in the storage net in front of you.
Air New Zealand – Premium Economy Spaceseat™ (777-300)
Premium Economy is about creating ample space and privacy. The design of the revolutionary Spaceseat™ means that the person sitting in front of you can’t recline into your personal space. The seats that run through the inner space of the cabin have been designed for couples, so you can relax together, or turn to face each other to share a meal. The seats on the outer space of the cabin cater more for those who need some uninterrupted work time, or for people who prefer to keep to themselves during the flight. Air New Zealand know that offering chicken or beef won’t cut it, so they have designed a delicious menu with a consultant chef. In the Premium Economy cabin you can expect to sample mouth-watering options, complemented by premium New Zealand wines. And if you need to fill a gap, simply order up a snack direct from your personal entertainment screen.
