Best Time to Visit Namibia

You can visit Namibia any time of the year as it is usually dry and warm. Between December and March, there will be days when it is humid and a chance of rain generally consisting of afternoon thunderstorms. The colours at this time are at their most vibrant. Wildlife viewing is best in the dry season which is from May to October. In the wet season, the animals leave the waterholes. If there is a high season, the period from July to October can be busy in Etosha and the NamibRand Nature Reserve. It can be cold at night and first thing in the morning. The summer can be very hot in certain parts of the country.
