Namibia - Weather
Namibia offers a pleasant climate all year with mild to hot days coupled with cool evenings and mornings. There are two seasons, summer from November to April and winter from March to October, however, the winter is not cold, it is generally just cooler in the mornings and evenings. January and February can be very hot, experiencing temperatures over 40˚C (104˚F) in the interior. The minimum temperature in winter is from 6-10˚C (42.8-50˚F) with temperatures ranging from 18-22˚C (64.4-71.6˚F) during the day.
The cold Benguela current helps to keep the coast cool and free of rain for most of the year. In inland areas, the majority of rain falls during the summer months.
