Tipping:

Big tips are not a common practice in Saudi Arabia, but a small tip is expected in many service-oriented businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and taxis.
Tipping is not mandatory but it's a way to show appreciation for good service. In upmarket restaurants, a 10-15% tip is sometimes added to the bill, but you can tip more or less, depending on your satisfaction with the service.
Tipping is also common in hotels, and it's common to tip
housekeeping staff, bellhops, and doormen.
Taxis and ride-hailing services such as Uber and Careem usually have a built-in tip option, but you can also tip in cash if you prefer.
