The Seychelles Islands lie outside of the cyclone belt, but still receive monsoon rains between November and February. The heaviest rainfalls are during mid-December to mid-January and this time of year offers a hot and humid season. May to September is relatively dry with temperatures averaging between 24-30˚C (75.2-86˚F). Humidity is lower and there are also cooling breezes. The transition months of April and October are fairly hot but with comfortable breezes.
