Zambia - Weather
Zambia is located in the tropics, however, due to the country’s high altitude, it ensures that the climate is rarely unpleasantly hot except when in the valleys of Zambezi and Luangwa. There are three distinct seasons in Zambia, they are: December through to April which experiences warm and wet days, May through August which are characterised by cool and dry days and finally September through November which are hot and dry. The average summer temperatures range between 25-35˚C (77-95˚F), while winter temperatures average between 6-24˚C (42.8-75.2˚F).
