Best Time to Visit Myanmar
Myanmar has a tropical climate with the southwest monsoon bringing rain from May to October, particularly from July to September. The central plains, however, receive only a fraction of the rain seen on the coast. From a weather perspective, the best time to visit most of Myanmar is from November to February, when temperatures are relatively reasonable. The only consideration at this time is that this is the peak of the tourist season. From March to May, the country becomes very hot, particularly in Bagan and Mandalay. January and February are both great months to as it is dry everywhere. Rain usually falls in the afternoon and early evening.
