Cuba offers a tropical climate with two distinct seasons: the rainy season from May to October and a dry season from November to April. The country experiences greater changes in temperature during the dry season, however, characterised by sunny days, temperatures average between 24-27˚C (75-80˚F). The rainy season provides slightly warmer temperatures and traditionally, August tends to be the hottest and most humid month.
Hurricane season in Cuba typically runs from July to November. Historically, storms that have hit Cuba have occurred between October and November.
