Belgium experiences a climate that is typical of most countries in northwestern Europe. The country’s climate is heavily influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, but the small size of Belgium means that there is very little variation in climate and temperature throughout the country. Winter tends to be mild in Belgium and summers are warm, however, there are times when temperatures reach 30˚C (86˚F). It is important to note that there is quite a bit of precipitation during all seasons in Belgium.
