Germany offers a temperate climate with warm summers and cold winters with four seasons.  Spring in Germany runs from March to May and weather can be unpredictable.  It can still snow in March while April can be characterized by showers.  It is best to dress in layers during the spring to accommodate the changing weather.  Summer runs from June to August with temperatures ranging from 22˚C-27˚C (71˚F-80˚F).  Summer days are long and it is usually warmer in the southern part of the country.  Fall runs from September to November and while weather can be unpredictable, September and October can experience pleasant days.  In November, days are shorter and can experience snow.  Finally, winter in Germany runs from December to February and is quite cold and snowy.
