Hungary has a continental climate that experiences cold winters with warm to hot summers.  The country witnesses all four seasons. Spring and summer can be mild and tend to be the wettest months featuring heavy downpours while winter is cold with snow. The western part of the country usually sees more rainfall than the eastern part. June to August are the warmest months with temperatures during the summer ranging from 27-35˚C (81-95˚F) and in winter temperatures range from 0 to -15˚C (32-5˚F).
