Best Time to Visit Slovenia
The summer is when everything is in full swing such as local festivals. However, the spring and fall are when the countryside colours are at their best on a Slovenia vacation. Also, accommodation prices are less expensive. It does depend also on the area to be visited. Bled has an alpine climate and is very cold in the winter with snow but not too hot in the summer.
Accommodation here is at a premium from May to September so it is a good idea to reserve well in advance. Ljubljana enjoys hot summers with a certain amount of rain and relatively cold winters. The Adriatic coast is definitely busy in the summer, especially in July and August.
