Social Conventions
Family life and the Catholic Church both play important roles in the lives of Slovenians and as such, they should be respected. When greeting people, shaking hands is the most common form of introduction.
Language
Slovene is the official language of the country. Two minority languages are Hungarian and Italian Slovenia is ranked among the top European countries regarding the knowledge of foreign languages.
Religion
Roman Catholicism is the largest religion in Croatia accounting for nearly 58% of the population. Other religions represented in the country include Eastern Orthodox, Protestants and Muslims.
