Prices From:
US$ 5,261

Head on a safari adventure that includes three countries on one itinerary! Experience the wonders of South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana such as Chobe National Park, the Okavango Delta, and Victoria Falls, while enjoying the comforts of four premium safari lodges.

This 11-day tour takes you to South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana for game drives and wilderness excursions.

Your African safari begins in South Africa. After landing in Hoedspruit, head to the Thornybush Game Reserve on the edges of Kruger National Park. Stay at Tangala Safari Camp as you explore the incredible landscape of the surrounding reserve. This eco-friendly lodge is powered by solar energy and natural gas so as to exist off the grid and blend into the surrounding environment. Its four chalets and six tents come with covered patios, twin beds, and ensuite bathrooms. All accommodations at Tangala Safari camp also boast incredible views of the Drakensberg Mountain Range and a waterhole where buffalo, wild dogs, and hippos come to drink. Embark on daily safaris to explore the world-famous savannah around Kruger.

From South Africa, head up Livingstone in Zambia, site of one of nature’s great feats, Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is one of the most iconic spots on the planet and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World according to CNN. From the moment you first lay eyes on these enormous falls, which pour millions of litres of water into narrow gorges every second, you will be awestruck. Victoria Falls is on everyone’s bucket list and you’ll be lucky enough to cross it off your own on this Zambia vacation.

Staying at David Livingstone Lodge and Spa, you’ll watch the falls from the water or air while cruising down the Zambezi River or taking a helicopter ride high overhead. When you’re not exploring the falls or white-water rafting down the river, you’ll enjoy the accommodations of this 4-star Zambian hotel. Relax in your spacious room with its own private balcony, air conditioning, and ensuite bathroom. Dine on the best in Afro-Arabian fusion at the Kalai Restaurant and recharge with a massage in the spa while gazing out on the Zambezi River.

Head down the Zambezi River to enter Botswana at Kasane and dip south to Chobe National Park, home to the largest number of elephants in Africa. Staying at Elephant Valley Lodge, you’ll head out on safaris to find elephants, leopards, lions, water buffalo, roan, giraffe, and even less-common animals like warthogs, honey badgers, and jackals. At the camp, you’ll stay in one of 20 tents, eight of which have views of a waterhole while the other 12 surround a swimming pool where you can cool off after a full day outdoors.

End your Botswana vacation with a trip west to the Okavango Delta and a stay at Kadizora Camp. With 10 luxury tents offering classical elegance in the wild, Kadizora Camp is sure to close out your trip in incredible style. It’s the only camp in the Okavango Delta offering hot air balloon rides, where you can view animals from high above the savannah. Be sure to visit a traditional village for a final encounter with authentic African culture before your trip ends.

This safari adventure through South Africa, Zambia and Botswana offers up a trio of incredible countrysides and four remarkable safari experiences.

Day 9-10

Okavango Delta

Here at Kadizora Camp you have quite a few activities to choose from during your stay such as open vehicle safaris, water safaris, bush walks and cultural safaris.

Game Drives in an open safari vehicle allows you to explore some of the varied vegetation this World Heritage site has to offer. Drive through semi-desert sands, dense Mopani woodlands and marshy floodplains. The area is home to a vast species of game including elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, red letchwe, impala, honey badgers, hippos and crocodile, to name a few. The region is also home to countless resident and migratory birds and bird watching is particularly favourable when the Delta waters arrive in February and dry up in late September.

On a bush walk, one would have the opportunity to observe the smaller things, such as fauna and flora that one would not see on a game drive. Your knowledgeable guide will talk to you about animal's tracks, bush skills and natural remedies used by the locals.

Kadizora Camp is fortunate to have traditional mokoros (dug-out canoes) which glide through the Delta water channels and provide an opportunity to view the aquatic wildlife from a close vantage point. The crystal, clear waters are filtered by large papyrus reed beds and is clean enough to drink. From the safety of a motor boat you can see crocodiles basking in the sun and pods of hippo wallowing in the lagoon. Your skipper will navigate the waters to ensure the best bird sightings possible. In the fishing season you can go out in the boat and try your hand at fishing with spinners - typically you may catch pike, barbel and bream. The Camp cooks will fillet your bream catch on your return and prepare it for your next meal!
