Authentic Cape & Wildlife

Duration
8 Days
Prices From:
US$ 2,421

Focusing on two of the country’s most popular regions, this South Africa vacation is perfect for first-timers or those Globetrotters looking for a return visit to see favourite spots like Cape Town and the game reserves of the northeast.

This 8-day South Africa vacation begins in Cape Town, exploring its surroundings, before heading to Nikomazi Game Reserve in the country’s northeast.

Backing onto spectacular Table Mountain and the unique biosphere of the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Town is a city of world-class beauty, inviting comparisons to Sydney or San Francisco. Popularly known as the Mother City, Cape Town boasts a mix of historical relevance and diverse cultures that you won’t find anywhere else in South Africa, or the world. A full day private Peninsula Tour takes you to all the key sights, including the stretch of palatial homes that make up Millionaire’s Paradise, the Cape of Good Hope, Boulder’s Beach, and Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens, when the weather permits.

South Africa is also well regarded for its wine, particularly the vintages that come from the Winelands region to Cape Town’s east. Spend a full day exploring the flavours here, as well as the towns of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. On your last day in Cape Town, enjoy a day of leisure to see any sights you might have missed or embark on a specialized tour. In the evening, enjoy a renowned performance of Kappse Stories from the Mother City over dinner.

Fly onto the country’s northeast and Nikomazi Game Reserve. Staying in a private tented suite, you’ll enjoy traditional meals, morning and afternoon game drives, and have the option of enjoying a bush “braai” or dinner. The Nikomazi Game Reserve has abundant opportunities for spotting wildlife and a wide range of activities for you to pursue when you’re not enjoying the comfort of the lodge in your downtime.
