This 13-day Dubai vacation takes you to the futuristic city to visit Expo 2020 Dubai before jetting to Mauritius for a week at a seaside resort. It features first-class accommodations, international airfare, and independent tours.
Your journey to Dubai starts with a flight from North America with Emirates. Arrive in Dubai and get settled in your hotel before spending two full days exploring the city. Spend at least one day at Expo 2020 Dubai, a once-in-a-lifetime event showcasing technological innovations, cultural traditions, and pavilions from over 190 countries. You can spend another day at the Expo or book some optional excursions in Dubai, such as a desert safari out into the Arabian desert or a journey up to the observation deck of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
Continue your journey by flying to the island of Mauritius, off the coast of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. Connect to Sofitel Imperial Resort & Spa, your 4-star home for the next seven nights. Situated near Flic en Flac, your resort sits on a large, white-sand beach and has rooms with views of the ocean or surrounding jungle. Enjoy candlelit dinners near the beach or Japanese Teppanyaki in one of the on-site restaurants. Recharge in the resort spa and enjoy the cool ocean breeze and stunning sunsets each evening. Dubai Sunset Desert Safari
This evening the mysterious desert will beckon you for a magical evening out - an adventure you'll never forget. Leaving behind the bustle of the city in the afternoon, your safari guide will transport you by four wheel drive vehicle for a thrilling journey over the rolling dunes through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Stop at Startent where you will watch the sun cast its orange glow over the vast expanse of rippling sand all round you as it sets (optional sand boarding available weather permitting). Like a shimmering mirage in the distance you will see the flickering lights of your camp where a traditional Arabian welcome awaits you. The encampment conjures up images of the Arabian Nights, relax on comfortable low cushions in Bedu Tents where you can quench your thirst, you could also have your hands painted with intricate henna designs, experience a short camel ride, get up close to a falcon or just enjoy the aromatic shisha. A feast of grilled meats, fresh salads and delectable Arab sweets is served. Under a galaxy of stars you will be entertained by the bewitching belly dancer swaying to the haunting strains of the Arabian music.

After breakfast at your hotel (time permitting), you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Mauritius this morning.
Upon arrival into Mauritius Airport you will be met by Goway's local representative and transferred to your resort, where you will stay for the next week. The rest of the day is at leisure.
