A fascinating historical excursion; your route will take your from Burj Al Arab, Dubai's landmark hotel to Majlis Al Ghorfat, a magnificent structure constructed in 1955 and recently restored. Driving past modern palaces, the tour will stop at the Jumeirah Mosque for a photo opportunity. You will then go towards Dubai's Bastakia area to admire the old-wind towered houses which were built by wealthy merchants, passing the magnificent Zabeel Palace on the way. The tour will continue to the Al Fahidi Fort, a 200-year-old structure that houses the Dubai Museum and stands as a reminder of the city's past as an important pearl diving and trading centre. You will continue your journey on a traditional abra, across the Creek, which offers splendid views of a modern metropolis. Your tour will conclude with a visit to the gold and spice souks situated in the bustling alleys that sit in the shadows of Dubai's splendid architecture.
