FIRST-CLASS | TAILOR-MADE: Combine a South African city and safari vacation with a stopover in Qatar. Explore Cape Town, South Africa’s beautiful Mother City, before you connect to the Kapama Game Reserve for three full days of safari game drives. Connect onwards to Qatar to cap off your vacation in Doha, the futuristic Qatari capital.
This 15-day Africa and Middle East vacation takes you to South Africa to explore Cape Town and head on safari before you connect to Qatar for a few days in Doha. It features a mix of deluxe and first-class accommodations and shared tours.
Your South Africa vacation begins with a flight to Doha with Qatar Airways, where you’ll connect onwards to Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa. You’ll spend four nights in Cape Town, widely considered one of the prettiest cities in the world. A city tour will showcase local highlights, starting with a cable car ride up Table Mountain so you can get your bearings, before you descend back into the city and head to landmarks including City Hall, Greenmarket Square, and Bo-Kaap. Cap off the tour with a jewelry experience at a local showroom. The next day, explore the Cape peninsula from Millionaire’s Paradise to the picturesque highway of Chapman’s Peak Drive to Boulder’s Beach, home to a penguin colony. You’ll have another day in Cape Town at leisure.
Continue your South African safari by flying to Hoedspruit in the country’s east and connecting to the Kapama Game Reserve, a private game reserve located to the north of Eswatini (Swaziland). Stay at the 5-star Kapama Southern Camp for 4 nights and enjoy a relaxed luxury safari experience in your own suite with massive windows and a private patio to watch local wildlife. You’ll spend three full days in the reserve, heading on morning and afternoon game drives each day. You’ll track favourite land mammals, including the Big Five, sip on sundowners at sunset, and head on nocturnal walks to spot predators such as hyenas and cheetahs rising from their daily slumber to hunt in the fading hours of the day. Bring your binoculars along as the reserve is also a great birding spot, with over 350 local species.
After your South Africa safari, you’ll return to the airport and fly back to Doha, the capital of Qatar, where you’ll spend 3 nights. Discover the highlights of this rapidly-growing city on a half-day tour. Enjoy the quintessential Arabian market experience at Souq Waqif, admire the rising skyline at the Corniche, take in some arts and culture at the museums and galleries of the Katara Cultural Village, and end the tour at The Pearl-Qatar, a 4km-long manmade island jutting out in the gulf. You’ll have another day at leisure in Doha to explore the city or book another excursion, such as a desert safari to the Inland Sea.
At the end of your Qatar vacation, return to the airport for onward travels.

Cape Town
Today you will be picked up from your hotel for a Half Day Cape Town City tour. No visit to Cape Town is complete without a tour of the "Mother City". Take a cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, (own account and weather permitting) with views of the City and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa.
You drive to Camps Bay, an affluent oceanside suburb of Cape Town, boasting a magnificent white sandy beach and once the hunting ground of Lord Charles Somerset. Wind your way along through Clifton, an exclusive residential area, home to some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa before meandering through Sea Point, the first 'commuter suburb' of Cape Town and now a recognized Orthodox Jewish community. En route, you will see the sweeping silhouette of the Cape Town Stadium before passing down Adderley Street considered the main street of the central business district.
The City Hall located on the Grand Parade is up next. Nelson Mandela made his first public speech after his release from the balcony of Cape Town City Hall. Drive past the Castle of Good Hope, a Provisional Heritage Site. The Castle of Good Hope was originally built as a maritime replenishment station and is the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa!
You then pass Charly's Bakery, home of Charly's Cake Angels, stars of the Food Network Show before hearing a brief history of District Six en-route to a visit at the Company Gardens. The public section of the garden is enjoyed for its sheer floral beauty as well as its historical setting. It is bordered by numerous landmarks including the Slave Lodge, present-day Houses of Parliament, and St George's Cathedral, the seat of the Anglican church in South Africa.
You hear about Greenmarket Square, the location for the well that was once the town's main water supply during summer months when streams from Table Mountain dried up, before a visit to the Noon Gun where you witness the historic time signal and learn more about the history of the Bo-Kaap and its people as you move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colors of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes.
Your final stop. A jewelry showroom where you meet a master diamond cutter and witness the process of cutting and polishing a diamond. You may even witness the rare opportunity of pouring of a gold bar!
