The Grootbos Garden Lodge, a 5-star resort set in a lush indigenous surrounding, is the ideal family getaway. Made from stone, thatch and a selection of fine timber, the lodge is stylish and modern with a strong African feel. Telescopes allow the guests to survey the stunning views and the library offers a superb collection of nature books to peruse at your leisure. Each suite, covering a minimum of 75 square meters, is privately located and tucked into the surrounding Milkwood forest and indigenous gardens.

Grootbos Nature Reserve
The next two days can be spent enjoying the facilities of the lodge or taking part in the numerous activities, such as guided walks, horse-riding, bird-watching, whale watching (seasonal) which are all included.

Forest Lodge The 16 freestanding luxury suites are carefully embedded in the ancient Milkwood forest, accessed via an enchanted cobbled pathway beneath the forest canopy. Each suite is stylishly furnished to provide an exquisite blend of aesthetic beauty and supreme comfort. Cosy fireplaces, luxurious canopy beds and spacious bathrooms make this the ultimate romantic getaway.
