Kapama Buffalo Camp

Duration
4 Days
Prices From:
US$ 1,259

Go on safari to an affordable and charming safari lodge in South Africa. Track down the Big Five alongside professional rangers before feeding elephants and dining on gourmet African cuisine beside a roaring fire at Kapama Buffalo Camp.

This 4-day safari tour takes you to a luxury safari lodge in the Valley of the Olifants, near Kruger National Park.

Kapama Buffalo Camp hearkens back to a bygone era of Africa with its natural stone and wood architecture and unyielding attention to service. This charming safari lodge in the Kapama Game Reserve combines old-world atmosphere with contemporary charms. Its 10 suites sit on stilts over the African savannah, allowing you to watch antelope passing beneath. With elegant wood finishing, double-beds and air conditioning, these suites offer modern comfort in a rustic setting. Wooden walkways connect the suites to each other and the main lodge. At night, oil lanterns transform the wooden walkways into romantic pathways in the air. Head from your suite to the main thatched-roof lounge and enjoy refreshments from the Buffalo Bar as you listen to the sounds of the wild. Cool off between safaris in the swimming pool and then enjoy a la carte African cuisine beside a roaring fire at the traditional boma.

At Kapama Buffalo Camp you’ll go on two safaris per day, getting up at dawn to accompany your ranger and tracker out into the bush to search for the Big Five and then again after High Tea in the late afternoon. Search for lions, rhinos, and buffalo alongside your knowledgeable and industrious ranger, who’ll educate you on this amazing ecosystem. Take a bush walk for a more intimate experience of the wild. An absolutely essential add-on is an elephant interaction, where you can get up close and personal with Jabulani, Mambo, and their herd. Learn about the close bonds between these elephants and help feed them during meal time. It’s the sort of experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Kapama Buffalo Camp offers incredible safari experiences on a South African vacation.
