This 4-day Kenyan vacation takes you to a Goway Stay of Distinction on the borders of Masai Mara National Park. It features deluxe accommodations, shared tours, and comes with the promise of something special. It’s an ideal add-on to a longer journey through Kenya.
Connecting from Nairobi, you’ll head to Mara Bushtops, a luxury camp a mere 4.5km from Masai Mara National Park. While many safari camps can’t live up to their lofty descriptions, Mara Bushtops embodies true exclusivity. Its 12 tents offer panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness and private decks that measure over 100 square-metres. Have your butler fill your hot tub and soak in the warm waters as you watch the African wild come alive. Then dine in a gourmet restaurant that serves a la carte dishes in a dining room overlooking a salt lick, which attracts all manner of fascinating wildlife.
Spend your days at Mara Bushtops heading on safari excursions in the company of skilled trackers. Ride in 4x4s or head on walking safaris through the bush in the search of the Big Five. Get up early to spot animals in the chill of the morning and venture through the bush right at dusk when predators come out to stalk their prey. Unwind at the end of the day with a massage in the spa or a premium wine from the extensive wine cellar.
On your final morning, head on one last game drive before flying back to Nairobi to continue your onward journey.

Nairobi to Masai Mara
Fly from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to the Masai Mara Airstrip.
On arrival you will be met by a member of the Mara Bushtops staff and transferred to the Camp.
At around 4.30pm, begin to explore the Conservancy, as the cooling temperature brings out the predators. Lion-kills are often fought over by packs of hyenas, jackals and other scavengers. Yet these life and death scenes are juxtaposed with the impossible beauties of the African sunset, as nature’s ever-changing palette streaks the sky with orange, red and gold.
Anticipating sunset, your guide will have stopped to prepare sundowners, with a wide choice of drinks. Clasp your favourite, ease back in your chair, and watch light shift to dark, heat give way to the chill, and another day at Mara Bushtops fade towards a close.

At Mara Bushtops, you step into a world where nature and contemporary comfort blend into one. Full day game drives depart at 7.00 am, with your 4×4 fully-equipped to cross the Mara plains in search of game. At 1800 metres above sea level it can get cold before the sun rises fully, so we provide blankets and hot water bottles to keep you warm.
By midday it can become very hot indeed and sun-block lotion and hats are advised. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree or overlooking the snorting hippos which wallow in the Mara River.
As the afternoon draws to a close and the temperature cools, the shadows lengthen and the Bush changes once more. Evening sightings of rhino are not uncommon on the way back to camp. Even a bad day is a good day in the Mara, since undoubtedly you will have encountered vistas, flora and fauna new to you. Each can be revisited in the memory as you sink into your welcoming hot tub back at your tent.
