This 8-day East African vacation takes you to the two most famous game parks in Africa: the Masai Mara and Serengeti. It features deluxe accommodations in game lodges and private game viewing experiences.
Your journey begins in Nairobi, the bustling Kenyan capital, where you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure to acclimate to the Kenyan climate and see a few sites if you wish. You can head to the Karen Blixen Museum to learn about the author of Out of Africa or visit the Giraffe Centre to share the space with friendly, recuperating giraffes.
From Nairobi, fly into Masai Mara, located in the Great Rift Valley and one of the most biodiverse parks on the continent. Staying at the 5-star Mara Bushtops, which offers intimacy and exceptional accommodations mere minutes from the main gate of the park, you’ll spend two full days on morning and afternoon game drives in the park. Head out each morning at dawn to spot cheetahs in the midst of their morning hunt, elephants bathing in waterholes, or herds of wildebeest and zebra migrating across the plains, following the rains. Return to the lodge for lunch and a rest before heading back out in the afternoon in search of predators stalking prey in the fading light of day or herd animals settling in for the night. You can even book an optional hot air balloon safari one morning. Start your day with views high above the plains where you can see every herd of buffalo or pride of lions. Cap off the experience with a champagne bush breakfast back on the ground.
After several days in the Masai Mara, you’ll head over the border into Tanzania and fly into the Serengeti, arguably the most famous safari game park in the world. Staying at Serengeti Bushtops, a 5-star property in the park’s northwest and located along the migration routes of wildebeest and zebra, you’ll have another two full days in the Serengeti to head on morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti has some of the largest numbers of mammals in all of Africa. You’ll have a good chance to see the Big Five, as well as gazelles, zebras, cheetahs, and dozens of species of birds. Considering the placement of the lodge, you’re also likely to spot migrating herds of wildebeest and zebra from the property between June and November.
At the end of your stay, connect to Arusha to continue to your next destination or return home.

Arrive Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Goway representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Nairobi - Masai Mara
After breakfast at your hotel this morning, transfer to Wilson Airport in time for your onward light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at your camp. Here you will change vehicles and transfer to Tarime Airstrip for your flight into the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive in your private vehicle as you make your way to camp.

Serengeti
Today is spent in the Serengeti National Park with private morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world, which is one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world. Serengeti is derived from the Masai language, specifically, "Serengit" meaning "Endless Plains". Approximately 70 larger mammals and some 500 avifauna species are found there. This high diversity in terms of species is a function of diverse habitats ranging from riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. Blue Wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region. With the predators, like Lion, Cheetah and Leopard close on their heels.

Enjoy a second full day in the Serengeti with private morning and afternoon game drives.
Departure
After an early morning game drive, check out of your camp and transfer back to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Arusha for lunch before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
