Bali and Ubud Escape Including Airfare

Duration
12 Days
Prices From:
US$ 1,959

Escape to the island paradise of Bali and spend your time enjoying the beach and jungle of this famous island hotspot. Splitting your time between Nusa Dua and Ubud, you'll enjoy exciting day trips to volcanoes and temples, and soak in the comforts of the island’s incredible tropical climate.

Your 12 day Indonesia vacation takes you to Bali, the country’s most popular tourist destination, which is famous the world over for its verdant jungle and relaxing beaches.

While in Bali, you’ll head on a day trip to several of Bali’s best landmarks and attractions. Start by taking in a performance of the Barong and Keris Dance, which tells of the fight between good and evil through elaborate dances and mythical reenactments. Pass onto Tampak Siring, an 11th-century temple set at the bottom of a lush river valley. At Tampak Siring, you’ll find 10 rock-cut shrines carved into the sheer cliff face. After marveling at the shrines’ intricate Hindu and Buddhist designs, continue along to Kintamani where you’ll find Mount Batur, Bali’s most active volcano. Sitting 1,800m high, the volcano is best known for its massive crater, Gunung Batur, which has a sparkling green lake at its centre. Enjoy a late lunch at Madu Sari Mountain Restaurant to admire the views and feast on Balinese cuisine before heading back to Nusa Dua.

Continue your Bali vacation by heading to Ubud, the island’s cultural centre. Eat, Pray, Love may have exploded the fame of this cultural hotspot, but the town was attracting travellers with its bustling restaurants, cafes, and street shops long before the book was released.

In Ubud, you’ll  learn to make Balinese cuisine during a cooking lesson.  On your last day head outside your resort and go on a shopping spree on the main streets of Ubud or enjoy one last day of sun on the beach . However you spend your time in Ubud on Bali vacations, it’ll be time well spent.
