This 3-day Korean vacation takes you to Jeju Island.

Your trip to Korea focuses on Jeju Island, off the southwest coast of the peninsula. Known for its gorgeous coastline and lush mountains, Jeju has long been the most popular domestic holiday destination in the country. After arriving, you’ll head on a half-day tour to see some of the best natural spots on the island. Start with a trip to Hallim Park before seeing the stone pillars of Jusangjeollidae Seaside Cliff, one of the island’s most important cultural monuments. Continue along to Cheongjeyeon Waterfalls, which are known as the Pond of God to islanders and have three stunning sections of cascading water, before ending the day with a trek along the Olle Route, which takes you along the coast past traditional villages and gorgeous mountains.

Spend the next full day touring the island, starting at the Jeju Folklore and Natural History Museum, where you’ll see an exhibition of materials excavated on the island over the years. Continue to Seongeup Folk Village to meet with locals and explore a village at the foot of Halla Mountain. Close off the day with two natural showstoppers. First, head to Seopji Koji Seashore Hill to enjoy stunning views off the eastern shore. Afterwards, head to Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak to see the stunning volcanic caldera formed by an eruption 100,000 years ago. Admire the crater that has a diameter of 600m and that rises 90m high. Then return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day enjoying the gorgeous climate of this East Asian island.

Day 1

Arrive Jeju Island

You will be met and transferred from your hotel in Seoul to the airport by private van with a local driver in the morningfor your flight to Jeju Island. On arrival, you will enjoy half day Jeju tour with your first stop being Hallim Park. This isone of the most popular tourist spots on Jeju Island, located about 33km west of Jeju City and Mt. Hallasan along thebeach in Hallim-eup. Next stop is the Jusangjeollidae Seaside Cliff, which are stone pillars piled up along the coast and isa designated cultural monument of Jeju Island. Jusangjeolli Cliff was formed when the lava from Hallasan Mountainerupted into the sea of Jungmun. Second last stop for the day is the Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls, named "The Pond of God,"and consists of 3 sections. Around the falls, a variety of plant life thrives, such as the rare 'solimnan' reeds. To the east,there is a cave where cold water pours from the ceiling to create the first waterfall.

Then last stop for the day is theTrekking & Hiking along the Olle Route. In the local dialect, "Olle" originally referred to the narrow path between thestreet and one's doorstep. Jeju Olle-gil, a series of walking trails that stretch around the entire coast of the island, is oneof the many attractions and activities that Jeju has to offer. The trails pass through various landscapes along the way,including small villages, beaches, farms and forests. Each route offers a unique opportunity to soak in the beauty of Jejuand the island's culture.

Full day Jeju Tour

After hotel breakfast, meet the tour guide at the lobby. Todays full day starts with the Jeju Folklore & Natural HistoryMuseum, currently has on exhibition folklore remains and natural historical materials of Jeju-do that were excavated inJeju-do and displayed in 1984. Then for some local flavour the next stop is the Seongeup Folk Village which is located atthe foot of Halla Mountain on Jeju Island, a small town that holds a vast amount of culture. Next, a stop at Seopji KojiSea Shore Hill which is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju Island and boasts a fantastic scenery especially inApril when yellow canola flowers are in full bloom. "Seopji" is the old name for the area, and "Koji" is Jeju dialectmeaning a sudden bump on land. Then head to Seongsan Ilchulbong Sunrise Peak which rose from under the sea in avolcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. Located on the eastern end of Jejuo Island, there is a huge crater at the top ofSeongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The crater is about 600m in diameter and 90m high. Drop off at your hotel in the lateafternoon.
