Seoul, the capital of Korea, has over 600 years of history. It is the heart of Korea's culture and education and is unique in that historical sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and modern cultural facilities coexist in harmony. Embrace traditional Korean culture and experience customs and lifestyles of the ancient dynasty.

Seoul is the capital and by far, South Korea's largest city and one of East Asia's financial and cultural centres. It contains a fascinating blend of ancient traditions such as street food vendors, serene Buddhist temples, extraordinary architecture and contemporary lifestyles with its cutting-edge technology and modern character. Seoul is a city filled with stark contrasts which make it all the more interesting.

Start with a full day getting to know the traditional highlights which include the Gyeongbokgung Palace the seat of power for Centuries with its National Folk Museum, the Presidential Blue House, the Jogyesa Temple and the Changdeok Palace with its Secret Garden built in 1405. Then head to Insadong Alley, a narrow street featuring a number of antique shops and the South Gate Open Market with its plethora of merchandise.

The following day is a visit to the Korean Folk Village to experience the lifestyles and architecture from the 18th and 19th Centuries with artisans and others working in the tradition of those times. This is followed by a visit to the COEX Aquarium and the Kimchi Museum. Afterwards, enjoy a delightful boat ride on the Han River. 

To enhance your in depth stay, travel to the Demilitarized Zone, known as DMZ just outside Seoul where there will be visits to Gaesong City, the old capital of the Goryeo Kingdom and the Exhibition Hall to view the lifestyle of North Korea. You will also be able to see North Korean territory from here. The day ends with a return to the city where time is set aside for shopping in the Itaewon District.

Your final day includes a visit to the omnipresent N Seoul Tower which offers the best panoramic views of the city, the National Palace Museum with its wonderful collection of artifacts and treasures from different periods and dynasties, the Bukchon Hanock Village with its some 900 traditional houses still exist and Samchungdong Art Fusion Street, a total contrast with its art galleries and small shops.

Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, you will meet our representative with name board at airport exit. We will assist you to board a pre-reserved vehicle and then transferred to your hotel by a local driver on a private basis. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure on your own.

Day 2


Today, explore Seoul, visiting the Gyeongbokgung Palace (Deoksugung Palace Tuesday only) passing by the Presidential Blue House, Jogyesa Temple, Cheongwadae Sarangchae (closed Mondays) and the changing of the Guard Ceremony. After lunch drive to the Changdeok Palace (N Seoul Tower on Monday only excluding Observatory), one of the World Cultural Heritages. It is the best preserved of the five royal palaces in Seoul and was the main palace of many Joseon Kings for the longest period. You will also visit the hot spots in Seoul including Insadong Arts & Crafts market (Mondays only) and Nandaemun Traditional Market.

Day 3

DMZ and the Third Infiltration Tunnel

The first stop will be Imjingak Peace Park, which established in 1972 to remind the Korean War and wish for peace in entire Korea. Next, visit The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, discovered on Oct. 17, 1978 and located 52km from Seoul. Then, Dorasan Observatory where North Korean military personnel are visible and so is the highlights of Gaeseong and the Geumgangsan Diamond Mountains. Then stop by Dorasan Station, a railway station on the Gyeongui Line, the northern most stop on South Korea's railway line and Unification Village. After the tour, enjoy the lunch at local restaurant and return back to your hotel around 15:00pm-15:30pm.

Day 4

Seoul Leisure Night and Street Food

We will pick you up from your hotel. The first stop is Gwangjang Traditional Market and you can enjoy sample authentic Korean street foods you have never seen. Continue to move on to Cheonggyecheon stream that you can take a break and feel the nature in the center of Seoul. For the next stop you will be transferred to the beautiful and historical Deoksugung Palace which is last palace of Korea. You can walk in the palace with beautiful illuminated lights and see picturesque scenery. It will bring you in a romantic mood. Last stop is the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, also called the DDP, is a major urban development landmark in Seoul, South Korea. After the tour, you are transferred to your hotel.

Kimchi Making

After breakfast, you will experience wearing Hanbok (Korean Traditional Costume), learning greeting etiquette and practice Kimchi cooking.

Depart Seoul
