- Duration
- 3.5 Hours
- Prices:
- On request
Set out this evening to explore Taipei by night, starting with a dinner of xiao long bao (steamed dumplings) at a local restaurant. Visit Longshan Temple, a much-loved Chinese folk temple which was rebuilt in 1919 after numerous fires and earthquakes. The traditional streets surrounding the temple are full of antique shops and herbalists. Continue to the Huaxi Street Night Market, a foodie's delight which houses the original Tainan Danzai noodle restaurant, as well as many small stalls offering popular dishes like squid soup, or in summer, chopped ice plates. Finally, stop at iconic tower Taipei 101 (the tallest building in the world from 2004-2010). Browse the high-end shops and bookstore of the lower levels, or take a trip up to the observation deck (ticket cost extra) for a stunning view of Taipei by night.
