Take a full day excursion to Taroko Gorge, a national park famous for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. Take the train from Taipei to Hualien, and then travel by bus to the gorge. Your route will take you through multiple tunnels and stop at various scenic spots including Swallows Caves, Qixing Lake and Hualien Stone Sculpture Park. Also visit a Marble Factory. Return to Taipei by train in the evening.
