Tokyo: Hakone Owakudani & Panoramic Mt Fuji Full Day Tour

This tour offers scenic views of magnificent Mt Fuji and Arakurayma Sengen Park. Please make your own way to the check in counter on the 3rd floor of the Keio Plaza Hotel to start at 8:50am. Your guide will meet you and you will board a bus promptly at 9:00am to start your tour. Your first stop Arakurayama Sengen Park which is a renowned photogenic spot where Mt. Fuji and a five-story pagoda can be seen simultaneously. On arrival you will disembark off the bus near Shimoyoshida Station, and walk for about 10 minutes to the entrance of Arakurayama Sengen Park. From the park entrance, there is a climb of 397 steps to the five-story pagoda. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the peak. Those that have trouble walking can view Mt. Fuji from the park entrance, but will not be able to see the scene of Mt. Fuji and the five-story pagoda together. Thereafter, guests will see vast panoramic views from Fuji-Q Highland's popular 'Fuji Airways' attraction. Take a seat and watch the gigantic screen as it rolls out seasonal landscapes of Japan's iconic peak on this fascinating virtual flight. You will receive a lunch coupon to redeem here.
Your next stop is Owakudani which is a volcanic valley created about 3,000 years ago as a result of Mount Hakone's most recent explosive eruption. And then onto the Hakone Ropeway, the ropeway is a popular way to take in beautiful views from high above the ground. There's plenty to see at 700 meters above sea level from this 360-degree panoramic vantage point including Mt. Fuji, Lake Ashi, and Sagami Bay. Your last stop for the day is the Hakone Shrine, which is located right in front of Lake Ashi in Hakone, Hakone Shrine is one of the area's most popular places thought to be overflowing with mystical energy, and is surrounded by lush greenery.

Your guide will drop you off at the Odawara Station, where you will be given instructions and tickets to board the Kodama Shinkansen to Tokyo, as you will not be accompanied by an interpreter/guide. The tickets are in the non-reserved section. On arrival in Tokyo between 6 and 8pm, please make your own way back to your hotel.
