The trip begins with a trans-Pacific flight, crossing the international dateline. After landing in Australia, your journey begins in Moreton Bay, just outside Brisbane in the coastal state of Queensland. Staying at Tangalooma Island Resort, you’ll experience the gorgeous beaches of this island getaway as well as the incredible access to the bay’s dolphins, who visit the shore each evening. Spend a couple days relaxing on the beach and feeding the dolphins every sundown, savouring your incredible encounter with these brilliant marine mammals.

Continue to picturesque Hamilton Island in the heart of the Whitsundays. Staying at Hamilton Island Resort, which is conveniently located near Marina Village, you’ll explore the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest living structure. Join a marine tour and head out to the edge of the Hardy Reef where you’ll scuba dive beneath the waves and see the incredible marine life that call the coral gardens home. You’ll have two days at leisure on Hamilton Island to take full advantage of the island’s many attractions, from the excellent golf courses to the long stretches of beach. Go for a swim, visit a local winery, or splurge on a helicopter flight over the reef.

From Hamilton Island fly down to Sydney, the nation’s largest city and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Take a two-hour cruise to see its most famous sights from the waters of the harbour, including the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Continue to the historic Rocks neighbourhood to learn about the city’s foundation as a penal colony before reaching Bondi Beach, where surfers from around the world come to surf the harbour’s breaks.

While in Sydney, explore the nearby wilderness of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and explore its Indigenous and colonial history. Enjoy stunning views of the Tasman Sea from West Head Lookout, see little penguins waddling along the coast, and meet the local Guringai people and learn about their ancient rock carvings. Cruise across Akuna Bay to see some of the many exotic birds and animals that call the park home before closing with a demonstration of didgeridoo and other Indigenous art forms. The next day, dig into the local Indigenous culture with an exploration of the Dreamtime, heading through The Rocks to learn about the region’s billion-year-old history as well as Indigenous myths and legends. At the end of your stay, connect to the airport to return back home and conclude your incredible escape to Australia.

Tangalooma Island Resort and Dolphin Feeding

A stay at Tangalooma Island Resort offers the tranquillity of a beach getaway, a glimpse of Queensland’s history, a chance to meet the wildlife of Moreton Bay and much more. Tangalooma’s greatest claim to fame however is its nightly dolphin feeding, where you have the opportunity tonight to  feed these beautiful creatures by hand.  Up to ten dolphins visit the shallow waters of Tangalooma’s beach each sunset. Tangalooma also offers a range of dining options, and over 40 free activities.

On the outer edge of Hardy Reef, Reefworld is the best way to see everything the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. Explore easy to follow snorkelling coral trails; SCUBA dive the most celebrated coral reef in the world; or just relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck. Day 10

Sensational Sydney Sea and Land

Begin your day with a sensational morning tea cruise. A unique, luxury two hour cruise experience. Enjoy the company of a small group aboard a 52 foot motor yacht. Your personal captain & host will share the rich history of Sydney Harbour and its foreshore as you take in the sites of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and the bays and coves of Sydney Harbour. Enjoy a light morning tea with coffee, tea, juice, water and 5-star service. At the end of your cruise you will have time to explore the historic 'Rocks' area and perhaps enjoy a harbourfront lunch (own expense) before making your way at 1.15pm to the front of the Sydney Harbour Marriott where at 1.30pm sharp you depart for an unforgettable Panoramic Sydney half day tour. Visit Sydney's trendy districts, superb coastal cliff walks and famous Bondi Beach. Your personal guide will entertain you along the way.

Day 11

Wilderness and Aboriginal Explorer

Head north across Sydney Harbour Bridge and just 45 minutes later you will reach your destination, the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. On the way, learn about Australia's Aboriginal and colonial history before arriving at your first stop, West Head lookout. From the lookout, take in incredible views of Broken Bay, the Tasman Sea, Pittwater and the historic sandstone lighthouse on Barrenjoey Headland. Gazing north, see the beaches of the Central Coast and also Lion Island which shelters the largest population of little penguins in the Sydney area. Learn about the Guringai people who originally lived in this area during a guided tour of a number of remote Aboriginal heritage sites including one of the most important rock carvings in Australia. Continue to Akuna Bay for a 3-hour cruise through the National Park's remote waterways. Your guide shows you exotic birds and marine life, the rugged Aussie bush, and interpretation at several ancient Aboriginal sites that are only visible from the water. Enjoy a 30 minute on-board cultural presentation, partake in hands-on demonstrations of the didgeridoo, spears, woomera (spear-throwing device), fire making and other Aboriginal skills. For lunch, enjoy typical Australian fare that features bush tucker flavors. Your tour also offers morning and afternoon tea and samples of favorite Aussie snacks.

Rocks Dreaming Indigenous Walking Tour

Be touched by the most ancient human culture on earth in a 90-minute leisurely walkabout with an Aboriginal guide in The Rocks, and journey into DreamTime, the culture of Aboriginal People. The Rocks Dreaming Aboriginal Heritage Tour is 100 per cent Aboriginal-owned and was developed by Aboriginal Elder, Margret Campbell, a Dunghutti - Jerrinjah woman. It is led by Aboriginal guides who have her permission to share her cultural knowledge. The tour gives you the opportunity to discover how the ancient Aboriginal DreamTime is still alive within the modern Sydney landscape and how the billion-year old harbour, marine environment, sandstone strata, waterways, flora and fauna continue to influence how Aboriginal people live today.  The afternoon is free to further explore Sydney.
