Prices From:
US$ 2,899

Experience the best of luxury on this journey to Australia. Start on Hayman Island, in the heart of the Whitsundays, where you’ll enjoy the 5-star comforts of InterContinental Hayman Island Resort. Then connect to Sydney to see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and explore the nearby wine region and Aboriginal rock art sites.

This 11-day Australian vacation takes you to the Whitsundays and Sydney for an unforgettable pairing of Aussie icons. It features deluxe accommodations, international airfare, and optional small group tours.

Your journey begins with a flight across the Pacific Ocean. Land in Australia and connect to the Whitsundays along the coast of Queensland. Transfer to Hayman Island, home to InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, a breathtaking 5-star resort with pristine facilities and unencumbered access to the waters of the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll have three full days at InterContinental Hayman Island Resort to enjoy the comfort of your Lagoon Room or Pool Ocean View Room and take full advantage of the resort. Spend your days lazing on the beach, enjoying the views of the Coral Sea, or unwind with a massage in the spa. Enjoy breakfast on the beachfront before going for a dip in the Hayman Pool or reclining in your own private cabana. Head on a sailing catamaran excursion to the Great Barrier Reef, ride a speedboat to Langford Island, and cap off the day with sparkling wine at sunset.

After enjoying the pleasures of paradise on Hayman Island, connect south to Sydney, Australia’s largest city and one of the most naturally-appealing centres in the world. You’ll have four nights staying in the InterContinental Sydney to experience the city’s many cultural and natural wonders. One day, you have the option of joining a city tour that takes you from the city’s oldest neighbourhood, The Rocks, to trendy Oxford Street and Bondi Beach, the surfers’ paradise. Along the way, enjoy views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Alternatively, you can enjoy a cruise like a local luncheon cruise, which transports you across the harbour aboard a yacht and provides you with the best views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, as well as a 3-course BBQ lunch. Other days, you can head just outside the city to take advantage of the nearby highlights. Venture into the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest wine region, to sample award-winning vintages at several wineries or explore the reaches of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park to discover Australia’s Aboriginal heritage and see Aboriginal rock art sites and learn about the history of the land.

At the end of your stay, connect back home, or extend your stay and see all that Australia has to offer.
