Set Sail and be captivated by one of the most enchanting groups of islands in the South Pacific. This escape will leave you replenished and full of memories of this beautiful corner of the earth.
The ultimate Fiji experience on the water, this week-long escape gives you the opportunity to explore spectacular coral reefs, and get up close and personal with the colourful cultures of this idyllic paradise.
Explore the coral cays of Naviti Island. Enjoy a basket weaving demonstration, then explore to your heart’s content with swimming, bushwalking, snorkeling, or miles of unspoiled beach at your fingertips. A visit to a traditional Fijian village will make you feel like an honoured guest as you take part in the ‘Yagona’ welcome ceremony and watch traditional dances.
On private Nanuya Lai Lai, you’ll have the opportunity to windsurf, get an up close view of the coral, feed tropical fish by hand or play a little volleyball. A highlight on this day will be a traditional ‘magiti’ lunch feast, cooked in a ‘lovo’ earth oven. You’ll also visit rarely touristed Yasawa-I-Rara Island, one of the most beautiful places in Fiji and home to unparalleled snorkeling amid pristine coral reef gardens. With each night spent anchored in a sheltered lagoon, this is leisurely South Pacific cruising at its best.

The small size of Blue Lagoon Cruises boutique cruise ship, Fiji Princess is just one of the things that makes a cruise in it so special. Accommodating up to 68 passengers and measuring only 179 feet (55 metres) in length, it can access bays and islands that would be impossible to reach in a large ship. We can get so close to shore, that we can tie off to a coconut tree and you can swim to the beach!

There is time to step ashore and enjoy a swim or wander along the beach before or after breakfast. Sea conditions permitting, there is an opportunity to swim with the sharks at a secret reef location enroute to our next destination. After lunch a visit to the chiefly village of Soso - an exceptional example of a current day Fijian island village. Following cocktail hour, enjoy a traditional Thali dinner which features exquisite Indian dishes. This evening may turn into an extravaganza of Bollywood dancing complete with Bollywood movies.
Sunday is a day of rest in Fiji but after breakfast there is a very special opportunity to attend a village church service. We cruise south to the beautiful Naukacuvu and Narara Islands as you enjoy a traditional Sunday roast lunch. Also on board there is an opportunity to join the Chef for today's Fijian cooking lesson and make the traditional dish 'Kokoda'. Tonight's buffet has a range of dishes from Fiji along with a choice of European dishes. Bingo 'Fiji style' after dinner with lots of laughs and some good prizes or enjoy a quiet nightcap in the bar.
As Fiji Princess arrives at the stunning southern tip of Waya Island, you'll be sure you have got lost in paradise. The backdrop of the neighbouring Waya Lailai volcanic formations is breathtaking. Spend the remainder of the day swimming, snorkelling, relaxing. Fiji style high tea is served following a cooking lesson on how to make 'Roti in Lolo'. Watch the sunset during happy hour. Tonight enjoy the Captain's Dinner welcoming our new 4 day cruise guest arrivals.
The Blue Lagoon
Our destination is the famed Blue Lagoon. This superb stretch of water is ringed by islands and on one of those islands is Blue Lagoon Cruises very own private island peninsula. Check out the stunning azure water. Watch as the crew position the vessel right up to the beach and tie her off to the coconut trees! Happy hour on shore with canapés is served followed by a very special night enjoying a traditional Lovo meal cooked underground. Dine on the beach under the coconut palms and the tropical stars. The evening will continue with Fijian meke, singing, dancing and storytelling by local villagers.
An easy guided island walk with panoramic views is offered this morning to visit an island style cake shop and browse the shell market. Laze in the sun or try your hand at basket weaving. A guided snorkelling safari is on offer today. Lunch is served on board as Fiji Princess cruises north for a private guided visit to the amazing Sawa-i-Lau caves. The village of Tamasua welcomes us to a yaqona ceremony, a guided walk around the village and a village style "feast" prepared and cooked by the village women. You will be Fijian for the night, sitting on the mats, eating Fijian village food. The villagers will share their culture and home with us for the evening.
Cruise to Drawaqa Island where our Marine Biologist joins us for a presentation about the local marine life and the volunteer conservation work carried out in the area. During May to October you will have the opportunity to snorkel with the magnificent manta rays. Also on offer today is an excursion to the local island school to view the work of the Vinaka Fiji Volunteers. Abseiling off an island cliff top down to stunning waters is another great option! Dinner this evening is a barbecue served under the stars! Party night Fiji style.
Enjoy breakfast onboard as Fiji Princess cruises back toward Port Denarau. Along the way you will be serenaded with a traditional Isa Lei farewell song by the crew, as your exploration of the beautiful Yasawa Islands comes to an end. Disembark at Denarau Marina, remainder of the day is at leisure, be sure to ask about adding a day tour or day room to your itinerary.
This evening you will depart Nadi for North America.
