US$ 1,592

MODERATE | TAILOR-MADE: Venture to three of Australia’s most famous spots, cosmopolitan Sydney, the outback and tropical Queensland. Get to know Sydney before catching the sunset over Uluru (Ayers Rock). Then explore Cairns, the rainforest and the incredible Great Barrier Reef.

This 8 day tour brings cosmopolitan Sydney, the outback and tropical Queensland together to offer those with limited time an unforgettable introduction to Australia.

Diverse and historic Sydney greets visitors with its sparkling harbour, iconic Harbour Bridge, and the unforgettable Sydney Opera House. Your included ferry ticket allows you to enjoy all three, including entry to Taronga Zoo, where you can say ‘G’day’ to kangaroos, koalas and other natives as well as many international guests. Your guided tour of The Rocks area offers a fascinating insight into Australia’s convict past, while an afternoon tour takes you to the Botanical Gardens and famous Bondi Beach for a more modern slice of Sydney.

Uluru or Ayers Rock is the ultimate icon of the Australian outback. Over 200 miles from the nearest large town, Alice Springs, Uluru is deeply shrouded in myth and legend and is a sacred place to the Anangu, the local Aboriginal people. A sunrise tour of this spectacular monolith is sure to be a highlight of your journey. Also included is a visit to another geological wonder, Katu Tjuta, commonly known as The Olgas.

Tropical Cairns offers a dazzling array of wildlife amid lush forest surrounds. You’ll visit the Great Barrier Reef for a close encounter with the abundant sea life of the world’s largest coral reef system. Your full day tour of nearby Kuranda and the surrounding rainforest includes one of Australia’s most scenic rail journeys, an Aboriginal dance performance, and a trip on the Skyrail for a bird’s eye view over the forest.
