Duration
10 Days
Prices From:
US$ 1,347

Famous for its wines, embark on a self drive through New Zealand’s Classic Wine Trail sampling gourmet food while taking in culture and some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes.

Whether your glass is half-empty or half-full, there is clearly room for more wine, and New Zealand is one of the world’s best places for a top-up! This 10 day tour takes you three of the country’s best loved wine making regions for the ultimate taste of both islands.

Enjoy a guided tour around the Art Deco architecture of Napier, before an afternoon at one of New Zealand’s best winery restaurants, where you’ll learn about wine and food matching, and of course sample some of the region’s most delicious offerings. After a morning 4WD Safari across rugged Cape Kidnappers Station, drive on to Martinborough to sample its famous Pinot Noir. You’ll have two nights at leisure here to enjoy the many wineries and culinary treats on offer.

Your day in Wellington gets off to a fun and informative start with a guided tour of Te Papa Museum, before spending the day at leisure to explore New Zealand’s capital. A ferry crossing takes you on to the South Island, and the Blenheim wine growing region, which is particularly noted for its Sauvignon Blanc. Your wine tasting journey continues in the Marlborough region before returning your rental vehicle in Blenheim.
