Arrive Cape Kidnappers
Upon arrival at Napier Airport you will be met and transferred to the Farm at Cape Kidnappers. Alternatively, self drive guests will make their own way to Lodge. Enjoy a special welcome and the remainder of the day is free to enjoy the lodge facilities including a swiiming pool, spa, golf course, gym and nature walks. Your nightly rate includes pre dinner drinks and hors d’oeuvres and a gourmet 3 course dinner nightly.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast this morning before departing The Farm at Cape Kidnappers. If flying from Napier you will be transferred to the airport to catch your connecting flight.
Accommodation for 2 nights, pre-dinner drinks with hors d'oeuvres, three course a la carte dinner, full Breakfast daily, complimentary mini-bar (excluding liquor and wines) and use of lodge facilities excluding golf and spa treatments plus return airport transfers from Napier Airport if required.

LOCATION AND GETTING THERE:
Hawke's Bay is located on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is one of the worlds most extraordinary top luxury destinations set on a 6000 acre sheep and cattle farm.
By Airplane:Air New Zealand operates at least 8 scheduled flights daily from Auckland (55 minutes) or Wellington (50 minutes) to Napier (Hawke's Bay) Airport. The aircrafts are either 66-seat ATR Aerospatiale twin turbo-prop or 33-seat twin turbo-prop Saab 340s. Charter jets and propeller planes can also be organized. Cape Kidnappers lodge staff will meet your flight upon request.
By Helicopter:Helicopters operate nationwide, and travel from Auckland, Wellington or Taupo can be arranged. Travel direct to Cape Kidnappers from Auckland is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes, Wellington flight time is 1 hour 20 minutes and from Taupo the flight time is 30-35 minutes.

The Lodge accommodation has 22 guest suites, and a Two Bedroom Owner’s Cottage. Every suite offers its own private porch, bedroom with sitting area and open fireplace, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The cottages are nestled in a native forest overlooking the golf course and the Pacific Ocean so relax in 5-star luxury on your private balcony, as you absorb the magnificent 180-degree sweeping views of the farm, golf course and the shimmering Pacific Ocean.
Each suite features room-controlled air conditioning, high-speed wireless Internet, remote control flatscreen LCD TV, DVD, CD player with iPod connection, security safe, fully stocked complimentary mini-bar, walk-in closet, spacious bathroom with heated towel rack, separate WC and shower stalls, oversized bath tub and twin vanities.
HILLTOP SUITE - 10 suites - 500 square feet/46.5 square meters
Situated on top of the hill above the Lodge, offering comfort and spectacular vistas. Two Hilltop Suites have the option to add an interconnecting second smaller bedroom.
RIDGE SUITE - 8 suites - 683 square feet / 63 square meters
Situated atop the skyline ridge to the southwest of and a short walk from the Lodge. Spacious, comfortable and private with fireplaces and full (wet) mini bars
LODGE SUITE - 4 large suites - 708 square feet / 65 square meters
The largest suites, located inside the Lodge Building, offer the convenience of proximity to lodge facilities, and full (wet) mini bars.

The Farm at Cape Kidnappers offers a wide variety of active and passive activities for guests to enjoy during their stay. Charges may apply to some activities.
Clay Target Shooting: With one of the most picturesque backdrops in Hawke's Bay, take aim at clay targets as they are launched out across the Pacific Ocean. With tuition from a guide and with all equipment supplied, challenge yourself to hit as many of these targets as possible whilst enjoying your setting amongst the pines beside cliffs that fall straight to the beach below.
Cape Kidnappers Property and Farm Tour: No visit to The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is complete without a tour of this 6,000 acre working sheep and cattle farm. Explore this magnificent property in four-wheel drive comfort or, for the more adventurous, try a quad bike tour.
Walking Trails: Whether your pleasure is a short stroll, an early morning jog, or a long walk, the rural property surrounding Cape Kidnappers has something for you. Walk to the 200 year old Kahikatea tree or jog or walk along Trigg Road which overlooks truly amazing Hawke's Bay views. For a longer walk, head out to the Kanuka Block and enjoy beautiful native bush and inspirational views of the Pacific Ocean. Guided walks of the property can also be arranged.
Gannet Colony: Cape Kidnappers is the home of the largest, most accessible mainland colony of gannets in the world. Visitors to the colony will see adults and young nesting in rows, carrying out their daily routine. The birds can be seen from September until early May, when they leave New Zealand for Australia. In September they return and build their nests, ready for the hatching of chicks during December and January. Due to the migratory nature of the birds, this activity is available from September until May.
Spa: Relax, rejuvenate and revive your body and spirit at the Cape Kidnappers Spa. Located on the hillside above the Lodge, the treatment rooms feature amazing views across the valley towards the sea or over the pine forest to snow crowned Mount Ruapehu. Choose from a variety of treatments including massage, foot reflexology, body wraps, facials, pedicures, manicures and hair care.
ATV Quad Biking: Take control of the throttle and ride with your guide over the stunning 6,000 acre sheep and cattle farm. These vehicles are an excellent way to explore off the beaten path with the aid of an experienced guide.
Mountain Bikes: Explore and enjoy our 6,000 acres of The Farm at Cape Kidnappers by bike. Adult's and children’s mountain bikes are available for guest use.
Offsite activities that can be done in the Hawkes Bay area include trout fishing, scenic flights, Maori heritage tours, hot air ballooning, paragliding, food and wine tours, river kayaking, white water rafting, beach activities
DINING AND CUISINE:
The Culinary team always aim to source produce as locally as possible. Cape Kidnappers also has a vegetable garden in place and with its close proximity to the lodge, the chefs are able to create daily menus based on what is freshest, utilising many vegetables straight from the garden and offering the most seasonal produce to guests. Depending on the season, they have a wide variety of different vegetables growing and are happy to show guests through.
The lodges prides itself on making as much as possible on site. Pastry Chefs make everything from scratch, from cereals, cookies, breads, jams, exquisite pastries to ice cream. The chocolate chip cookies are gaining legendary status, and the smell of melting chocolate wafting from the kitchen means the chefs are making one of their wonderful desserts for the night’s dinner menu.
Breakfast: Breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.30am and features a buffet of local and imported fruits, home-made muesli and cereals, yoghurts and freshly baked pastries. In addition, a hot menu featuring eggs, pancakes, crisp New Zealand bacon, ham and sausages and more may be ordered.
Lunch: Lunch is served from 12.00pm to 3.00pm in the Lodge dining area. The Lodge lunch menu offers an extensive variety of dishes, ranging from sandwiches to three course lunches. The Clubhouse offers a small selection of light options. Sandwiches to eat between nines can be ordered prior to tee-off at the Clubhouse. Lunch is not included in the tariff, but can be charged directly to your suite account. Room Service to your luxury accommodation is available on request.
Cocktails: The complimentary cocktail hour begins at 6.30pm. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a wide range of wines, beer and spirits are served.
Dinner: Dinner is served from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The dinner menu changes nightly and features the finest New Zealand lamb and beef, as well as the best local produce and seafood. Wine and bottled water served with dinner are not included in the daily tariff. During cocktails and dinner, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket (the Lodge has jackets available for guest use at Reception).
Picnics: The property has an abundance of wonderful picnic sites and offer a choice of picnic lunches from an activity pack, simple boxed lunch or a delicious gourmet picnic.
Private Dining: If you would like to dine privately, the snug, library and wine cellar provide this unique experience.
