South Australia’s most diverse natural treasure.

This 2-day excursion to Kangaroo Island introduces you to some of Australia’s most beloved native animals, and picturesque landscapes. Transfer via ferry from Adelaide, stopping at Clifford’s Honey Farm for some tasty treats before lunch. Then go on to your first wildlife stop, Seal Bay, home to Kangaroo Island’s famous Sea Lions. You’ll also see some native Australian birds of prey in flight, and join in a pelican feeding.

Your next day begins at the unique Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, where you can sample some eucalyptus products before resuming your journey at Parndana Wildlife Park. Keep your camera handy as kangaroos and wallabies hop by. You can even have your photo taken with a koala. The afternoon is devoted to Flinders Chase National Park, which contains some of the Island’s most spectacular features including Admiral’s Arch and Remarkable Rocks. It’s also home to adorable New Zealand fur seals – one last wildlife memory to cherish before you depart.

Day 1

Adelaide to Kangaroo Island

An early morning pick up from your hotel for a scenic coach transfer to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink ferry for the 45 minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Here you will board your luxury SeaLink coach and your local driver/guide will take you on a tour of South Australia's premier nature-based tourism destination.

Your first official stop will be Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you will listen to an introductory talk about the history of the oil distillery and take a guided tour. Finish off with some free time in their souvenir shop where you will find an assortment of Eucalyptus products. Continue onto Vivonne Bay Bistro located on a 260 hectare bush property, for a delicious two course lunch.

After lunch visit Seal Bay Conservation Park and enjoy a guided beach walk with a National Park Ranger amongst a breeding colony of wild and rare Australian sea lions. Your tour will then visit another amazing wildlife attraction, the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience and meet an array of birds and raptors.

From here you will travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, see Penguins swim and play, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies, learn about endangered species, interact with Snakes, Crocodiles and reptiles and experience Kangaroo Island Wildlife at your fingertips! You will then be transferred back to your chosen overnight accommodation.

Day 2

Kangaroo Island to Adelaide

After a delicious breakfast, visit Clifford's Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice-cream and honey beauty products.

Next, travel to Hanson Bay Visitor Centre & Café for a scrumptious two course lunch. After lunch you have the chance to look for Koalas nestled up in the eucalypts and see an abundance of native birdlife in the wildlife sanctuary.

From here, travel to the western most part of the Island, Flinders Chase National Park, one of Australia's largest and earliest conservation parks. Travel through the park and enjoy breath-taking views of its unique trees, plants and coastal scenery. You will be taken to the rugged southern coastline for a walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals that can be seen swimming and playing in the waves, or resting on the rocks.

Return to the Penneshaw Ferry Terminal or Kingscote Airport for the return journey to Adelaide.
