North Island Highlights

3 Days
Prices From:

Heritage and natural wonders keep you exploring on New Zealand’s North Island.

This 3-day guided tour of New Zealand’s North Island starts in Auckland before taking you to the Coromandel Peninsula, the Bay of Plenty and bubbling Rotorua.

Consider arriving early to spend some time in Auckland, repeatedly named one of the world’s most liveable cities. A luxury mini coach takes you to the Coromandel Peninsula, home to thousands of sea and shore birds. You’ll stop in at an historic mining town and pass forests of ancient Pohutukawa trees. This region abounds with unusual sights, including the famous Hot Water beach, and an historic gold cave that now only shines with beautiful glow worms.

Your final day takes you to the Bay of Plenty, a rich farming region, and Katikati, which feels more like an open air gallery than a town, thanks to its astonishing range of murals. After lunch, you’ll disembark at Rotorua, New Zealand’s famed geothermal wonder, filled with steaming geysers and bubbling mud pools.
