Venture by luxury coach from The Gold Coast to Cairns visiting famed sights from the Gold Coast to Hervey Bay, Rockhampton to Daydream Island and Mission Beach to the iconic Great Barrier Reef.
Experience Australia’s beautiful East Coast in style on this 9 day, fully escorted tour, departing either Sydney or Brisbane, bound for tropical Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.
Set off along the picturesque New South Wales coast bound for Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay. This is the eastern tip of Australia, and lures visitors with its spectacular coastal views and famously laid back, alternative lifestyle. Cross the border into Queensland and discover the Gold Coast, where breathtaking beaches, world class theme parks and a wealth of dining, shopping and entertainment options combine to create one of Australia’s favourite holiday spots.
Our 9 day guests join us in Brisbane for the trip to Noosa. There is free time here for a beach swim, a trek through pristine national park, or a boat ride through the Noosa Everglades. Further north, Fraser Island’s traditional Aboriginal owners called it K’gari, meaning paradise. A guided 4WD Safari will take you to see many of the island’s shipwrecks, lush forest areas and famous coloured sands.
Spend a full day at leisure exploring Daydream Island, part of Queensland’s famous Whitsundays, where you’ll have access to forest walks, snorkeling on the reef and Daydream Rejuvenation Spa. Back on the mainland, it’s on to Mission Beach and Billabong Sanctuary for the chance to interact with some of Australia’s native animals, including koalas, wombats and (from a safe distance) saltwater crocodiles.
Cairns is your gateway to tropical north Queensland, and a perfect base for exploring Atherton Tablelands. Wander World Heritage rainforest at tree-top level on the Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway. See Millaa Millaa Falls and Curtain Fig Tree, then enjoy a barbecue dinner at a private, Federation-style mansion. A high speed catamaran ride takes you to the Great Barrier Reef, home to over 1200 species of fish and 500 species of coral. See them through the windows of a semi-submersible craft, or go snorkeling for a closer look.

Gold Coast - K'gari (Fraser Island)
This morning visit Australia Zoo made famous by the Crocodile Hunter, the late Steve Irwin and his family. Enjoy a sneak peek into the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and see how AAT Kings works with the Wildlife Warriors to support the koala rehabilitation project at the hospital, the country's largest and busiest wildlife facility. This afternoon the ferry will take you across to the World Heritage listed K'gari, also known as Fraser Island.

K'gari (Fraser Island)
A day of discovery lies ahead as your 4WD tour takes you for a ride around the island's must-see sites. Visit Lake McKenzie, ringed with magnificent white sandy beaches. Walk through the ancient rainforest at Central Station and Wanggoolba Creek with its huge satiny, scribbly gum and kauri trees. Across the island to 75 Mile Beach, the sand highway will take you up the eastern coast to the Pinnacles Coloured Sands; cooling, calm waters of Eli Creek and the famous sinking Maheno Shipwreck.

K'gari (Fraser Island) - Rockhampton
Visit Langmorn Station, a fully operational family run cattle station. Meet the Creed family and take a guided tour of the property including the original family homestead, built in 1873. Enjoy afternoon tea in the garden in the company of the pet kangaroo! Cross the Tropic of Capricorn as you arrive in Rockhampton, the beef capital of Australia. Your night is free so why not try some local beef at one of the town's steakhouses.

Great Barrier Reef
Board a high-speed catamaran today and cruise out to the iconic Great Barrier Reef, the only living organism that can be seen from the moon. You'll have the opportunity to go snorkeling (equipment provided) or view the spectacular coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and glass bottom boat.
