This 7-day Australian vacation takes you to Sydney and the Great Barrier Reef. It features moderate accommodations and shared tours.

Your journey through Australia begins in Sydney, the nation’s largest centre and a city blessed with an enviable natural harbour. You’ll explore the harbour and some of the city’s famous landmarks on a walking tour that takes you to Darling Harbour, Bondi Beach, and some of the trendiest spots in the suburbs. You’ll also go behind-the-scenes of the famous Sydney Opera House on a guided tour. The next day, take advantage of the hop-on hop-off cruise to flit between landmarks such as Luna Park and the Circular Quay. Your pass also includes access to Taronga Zoo, where you can say g’day to beloved marsupials like koalas and kangaroos.

Fly north to Cairns in Northern Queensland, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll explore the world’s largest living structure on a Quicksilver cruise out to Agincourt Reef. Snorkel through the coral gardens and get up-close-and-personal with the undersea life. Then explore the rainforest on a trek to Kuranda. Ride the skyrail into town and explore the Rainforestation Nature Park before boarding an amphibious vehicle to trek through water and rainforest. Inside the forest, learn about Aboriginal traditions and Dreamtime legends before capping of the day with a guided tour of the Koala and Wildlife Park.

At the end of your stay, head to the airport in Cairns for onward travels.
