FIRST CLASS l SMALL PRIVATE GROUP l SYDNEY WORLDPRIDE: Join in the first week of celebrations as Sydney welcomes the world's LGBTQIA+ community… and anyone looking to have a fun, pride-filled time at WorldPride 2023.

Get ready for a Pride like no other! In 2023, Sydney Mardi Gras and the world come together for Sydney WorldPride. LGBTQA+ folk and their allies will come together to celebrate queer culture from around Australia and the globe. This 6 night group package gets you tickets to the hottest events of the opening week, along with special ‘only in Sydney’ experiences including the famous Sydney Bridgeclimb. Plus, you’ll be in town for LGBTQIA+ Australia’s night of nights, the Sydney Mardi Gras parade!

A city tour helps you get your bearings in Sydney on day one. Drive through the historic Rocks district, see the gorgeous harbourside suburbs of Eastern Sydney, take in awesome ocean views from ‘The Gap’ and enjoy lunch and a guided tour at the fabulous Sydney Opera House. A welcome drink back at your hotel invites you to get to know your fellow travellers before a night to yourself in the Harbour City.

Did you hit the Oxford Street or Newtown bars last night? Enjoy! Just keep a clear head for the once-in-a-lifetime experience that is Sydney Bridgeclimb. After taking in a city view that you’ll never forget from the top of ‘the coat hanger,’ ease into a leisurely lunch cruise on Sydney Harbour, with local commentary, and the chance to swim and snorkel in some of the Harbour’s most secluded coves.

Take a day to explore Sydney on your own, leading up to the Loud and Proud World Pride Opening Concert. Hosted by Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan and drag superstar Courtney Act, the show starts at 7pm, but you’ll have access from 3pm to get a good spot, take in the atmosphere, and make a few new friends. Follow up the next day with a walking tour of the Rocks, where you’ll get to know some of the more (in)famous stories behind Sydney’s colonial history. You might want to catch a nap after because it’s Mardi Gras parade night! Arrive well before the 6pm start time to grab a good spot, and enjoy the biggest and best show on LGBTQIA+ Australia’s calendar.

The following day is at leisure until 3pm when you’ll join 10,000 others at the outdoor Domain Dance Party. Enjoy top-notch entertainment both on stage and throughout the crowd. Then sleep off the party, or get up for more sightseeing until your progressive dining tour through Surry Hills with a well-connected local guide. It’s a memorable, delicious way to bid Sydney farewell for now, but we don’t blame you if you’d rather stay.

Transfer to Sydney Airport for your onward travels or flight home.

Upon arrival, a private transfer to your hotel is included.

Stretching across two iconic heritage-listed buildings – The Clare Hotel pub and the Carlton & United Breweries Administration Building – the 62 room boutique hotel has been constructed with obsessive attention to aesthetics and concern for retaining the interesting features of both buildings. Situated along the re-developed Kensington Street precinct, The Old Clare Hotel is the first Australian hotel from the unconventional Unlisted Collection:. With its rich, varied history and architecture, Chippendale has become the home of choice for dozens of art galleries, production houses, graphic
and fashion design studios, plus Sydney’s most exciting new restaurants, cafés and bars.

This afternoon, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby for half day city sights tour.
You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a Half Day City Sights Tour.
Drive through the historic 'Rocks' area where Australia was first founded with its maze of terrace houses, restored warehouses, pubs and restaurants. Drive under the famous 'coat hanger', the Sydney Harbour Bridge and view Sydney's famous architectural masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House. Continue through the commercial area of the city passing the historical buildings of Macquarie Street - Parliament House, The Mint and Hyde Park Barracks. Alight at Mrs Macquarie's Chair for breathtaking views of the city and harbour. Proceed through cosmopolitan Kings Cross and exclusive garden suburbs to the Gap on the ocean headland at Watsons Bay. Return to the city via famous Bondi Beach and Paddington, a Victorian suburb of restored terrace houses richly decorated with cast-iron lace. (Tour highlights in above itinerary maybe in different order due to traffic conditions).

Your tour will conclude at the Opera House, which will be followed by a light lunch.
Step inside and discover the extraordinary stories of the Opera House then relax by the harbour as you enjoy lunch at Opera Kitchen. On the tour, the passionate guides will take you inside theatres and foyers which are otherwise off limits and let you in on some insider secrets. BridgeClimb and Harbour Cruise

We meet in the hotel lobby with our local guide, who will accompany us on our tour for the day.

On arrival at the departure lounge of Bridgeclimb, you will be given a briefing and demonstration on the use of equipment and will be fitted with your Bridgesuit and shoes. The pace of the climb is leisurely and follows stringent safety standards. You can choose to ascend the Bridge's Upper Arch or take an easier route on the Suspended Arch. Enjoy some informative fun and experience the exhilaration of standing over 100 metres above the harbour on Sydney's world famous Harbour Bridge.

After your climb, we go for a short walk to board your afternoon lunch cruise. Allow yourself to spend 3 relaxing hours, tucked away in a first-class vessel, enjoy Sydney Harbour
discovery lunch cruise and escape the stress and hassle at least for a while. We’ve prepared a complete experience with live commentary and lunch served on board. If you wish, you can even take this opportunity to dive into the Sydney Harbour, go snorkelling and see the underwater life up close. Discover the secrets of one of the world’s most famous and spectacular natural harbours including icons such as Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Sydney Botanical Gardens and more. We give you a chance to see the city from a new perspective and marvel at the sights that decorate its coastline. Owing to our educated live commentator, you will get to learn something new about Sydney, its history and about each of the sights that you can see from the deck. In addition to this, you will have access to one of Sydney’s most historic National Park Islands. Here you can explore the area and/or swim (optional) with an invitation to hire snorkel gear or bring your own.

This 3-hour Sydney Harbour discovery lunch cruise is a perfect way to see Sydney from a unique vantage point with plenty of amazing photo opportunities. After a fabulous afternoon on stunning Sydney Harbour take a short transfer back to your hotel.

Remainder of the day at leisure….

This evening we suggest a visit to Spice Alley at Kensington Street, home to the Kopi-Tiam – four hawker-style diners under glowing lantern ceilings. Bordered by two small restaurants, this laneway meanders through the landscape of Asian cuisine from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam and China. The list of Spice Alley restaurants include Alex Lee Kitchen, Bang Luck Thai Street Food, Old Jim Kee’s, Hong Kong Diner, KYO-TO and Mekong. (Dinner at Spice Alley at own expense)

Still to be seen today are the pubs and hotels, once frequented by the locals and sailors alike and the haunts of larrikins and rogues.
