My Polynesian Life
Experience a day in the life of a Polynesian Islander with your local host, Sam. This unique and authentic experience begins with a paddling lesson out on a traditional outrigger canoe, the traditional means of transport. Fishing is a big part of daily life and after a fishing lesson, you can try to fish with a net for your lunch. Your host will show you how to prepare your lunch, making the famous "poisson cru". Afterwards, visit the beautiful organic plantation where you'll discover local vegetables and enjoy seasonal fruits. Throughout the day, Sam will share local stories and legends. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in French Polynesian culture.
