Ultimate Australia in Style with Airfare: Tasmania, Melbourne & Sydney

Duration
14 Days
Prices From:
US$ 7,249

DELUXE | TAILOR-MADE: A unique deluxe experience highlighting classic sights with some unique touring that showcases wine, food, and nature. Go at a more leisurely pace, and spend time in Tasmania, possibly Australia's best-kept secret!

This 14-day luxury package includes airfare from North America. Going at a more relaxed pace, it invites you to explore culture-loving Melbourne, come face to furry face with some of Australia’s cutest native wildlife, and take in the art, history, and wilderness of Tasmania before spending a few magical days in Sydney.

Take your first morning in Melbourne to relax, nap, and shake off any pesky jetlag, checking into your luxury hotel. Refresh with lunch and a coffee from one of the city’s countless cafes before your guide takes you through the lanes and arcades of Australia’s chicest city. In Melbourne, cutting-edge fashions share the streets with eye-popping graffiti art, some of Australia’s best museums, an amazing food and theatre scene, and a wholly unpretentious attitude.

Take a day in the Yarra Valley, stopping at some of Victoria’s best wineries, including Domaine Chandon. The following day takes you to Phillip Island, where a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park invites you to meet Australia’s famous native wildlife. Head to the Nobbies for the unmissable Little Penguin Parade, when thousands of penguins return home each night from the Southern Ocean. With one more spare day in Melbourne, check out its many galleries and museums, enjoy a shopping day, or embark on another day trip along the Great Ocean Road to see the Twelve Apostles.

Fly to Hobart, with time to relax and explore this small but beautiful city on the Derwent River. A Tasmanian History and Geology tour takes you to Port Arthur Historic Site on the Tasman Peninsula. While it’s got a bleak history, this is a beautiful corner of the world, where you’ll also enjoy a tour of the rugged coast. The following day, dive into Australia’s most brilliant and irreverent art collection at the Museum of Old and New Art, then stop in for a tasting or lunch at Coal River Valley winery before visiting the picturesque village of Richmond. Of course, it’s not a visit to ‘Tassie’ without meeting the adorable punk of Australia’s critters, the Tasmanian Devil. See them on a Wilderness and Wildlife Tour that showcases the best of the Derwent River region surrounding Hobart.

Fly to Sydney and take the day at leisure to explore, or relax at your luxury hotel. A morning harbour cruise and panoramic city tour await you! Join your small group for 5-star service on Sydney Harbour, with a light morning tea and expert commentary from your captain and host. In the afternoon, explore the Rocks area to learn about the early days of Sydney. Travel along Oxford Street, the heart of LGBTQ+ Sydney en route to trendy Paddington, Tamarama, and Bronte. Explore world-famous Bondi Beach before returning for a classic Sydney Harbour view at Mrs Macquarie’s Point.

Finish the journey with two unforgettable Sydney experiences. Start with an indigenous-led Rocks district walk through the ancient DreamTime. Learn about a Sydney that predates white colonization, and how the region’s geography has shaped Aboriginal life both past and present. Then pull on your climbing suit for the ultimate Sydney Harbour Bridge adventure. Sydney BridgeClimb is one of the city’s most unforgettable experiences, combining history, engineering, adrenaline, and the ultimate Sydney view.

Transfer to Sydney Airport for your flight home.
